Need help with third? Email us directly, or check the common questions below — most issues have a one-step fix in the app.
Open third and go to the Me tab, then scroll to the Preferences section and confirm 🔔 Nearby alerts is on. If it looks right, the issue is usually at the OS level — open your phone's Settings → Notifications → third and confirm notifications are allowed. On Android, also confirm the Nearby alerts channel is set to a sound + banner importance.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the email associated with your account. We'll send a reset link. If you don't see it, check spam — the sender is support@ethaninnovates.com.
In the app: Me → Delete account. Type your name to confirm, and your account and all associated data are deleted immediately. Full details at ethaninnovates.com/delete-account.
Email us at and we'll send you a copy of your profile, waves, blocks, and reports in a structured format. EU, UK, and California residents have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Open their profile and scroll to the bottom — tap Report or block, then choose Report or Block from the menu. Blocking is immediate and private — they cannot see you and you cannot see them. Reports are reviewed by the third team. For urgent safety concerns, email us directly.
Open the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android), search for third, and tap Update. If you've just updated and the banner still shows, fully close and reopen the app.
First, make sure you're on the latest version. If it still crashes, force-quit the app and reopen. If the problem persists, email us with your phone model and OS version and we'll investigate.
If you encounter behavior that violates our community guidelines — harassment, threats, impersonation, or content that endangers a minor — use the in-app Report on the user's profile or email us directly. We review every report.
For concerns involving child safety, see our Child Safety Standards. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and report violations to NCMEC and law enforcement.
